๐ปใใใซใกใฏใฟใชใใ！๐ป Why am I studying Japanese ? My reason for studying Japanese is that my second year of high school I promised my Japanese friend that in college I would study the language. If I ever wished to visit her home in Osaka, she required that I at least be able to order some ramen without making a complete fool of myself! And I would do a lot for some quality ramen... What am I excited about? I am most excited about being able to call up my high school friend and impress her with my amazing ability to stumble through a basic conversation with her in her first language because for our whole friendship she has been using my first language, English. Oh, how the tables will turn! What have I found challenging so far? The hardest part for me so far is that humans speak languages so fast, so sometimes my brain cannot keep up with what others are saying especially in a completely new language!...
